Leslie is spending a few days this week in Reno Nevada for a national bowling tournament (she placed 2nd). It gave me a chance to take a few day's off and spend them with Jordan. He is out of school for a couple more weeks. We planned one day in the mountains doing a fun bike ride to a fishing spot I know about with a guarantee to always catch something. It was an easy 13 mile ride on a paved trail with no cars. The streams had plenty of water which made the scenery nice. We enjoyed a picnic and small hike after we ate. Jordan caught five fish in about 30 minutes. We left with plenty of time to beat the Friday night traffic. He called Leslie on the way home and told her it was his best day ever. I guess he had a good time.

Wow, what a great day. I wish I knew a spot around here that was guaranteed to always catch something. Reminds me of the San Gabriel River trail except your stream had clean water. Awesome!

Jason, you are quite the blogger! Looks like fun times, we miss you guys.
One of my daughters can not ride a bike! That is a tricky trail. Looks like an exciting adventure.
What a great time....biking and fishing. Take any fish home? How lucky Jordan, to spend such a great adventure with your dad!
