Today Brandon and I went on a mountain bike ride in the mountains behind our house. Today started chilly and cloudy and ended up being nice and clear. This trail is one of our favorites. It's not too hard or too easy for our skill level. It pushes us enough without killing ourselves but hard enough that we do do get a rush when we do something that killed us once before. We are padded up on our knees and elbows so that we don't get hurt. We worry more about damaging our bikes. We look forward all week to hitting the trail on Saturday's. We usually don't bring a camera because of the bother of stopping and taking the pictures. The day was so nice that we took the time to shoot a few pics.
UPDATE.... I forgot to mention that when I got home leslie had dinner ready to eat. So we sat down at the dinner table. As I was eating I felt something crawling inside my ear. I took my finger to feel for something and a tick fell into my dinner plate. Yuck! I went upstairs for a quick shower and to wash my clothes. I guess I have another reason not to fall into the bushes next time.

Dude- the tick in the ear is pretty gross. What a close call. I can't believe you didn't feel it crawling around earlier.
