This Saturday the boys and I went on an overnighter scout outing to some sand dunes near Baker Ca. Jordan's scout troop has spent the last month making the sand boards to ride this weekend. An odd fact that I discovered is that they only slide on sand if you wax the bottoms with special sand wax. We had as much fun watching as riding. We all have sand (even after showering) in places that we shouldn't. You will notice alot of spitting after each ride. Here is a video of our fun.

Oh My Gosh! That is so fun. I can taste the grit from here! I'll be sharing those plans with our Scott troop you can bet.
That looks like a lot of fun (besides the sand part). Bryson liked watching the video.
that sand would drive me nuts. a friend of mine calls that "getting sand in special special places."
i don't know why but i loved heard Jason say "holy crap" on his first run.
