Jason, Jordan and I ran in a 5K Race on Saturday, October 30th. This was my second 5K, and Jason and Jordan's first 5K. It was held locally, and we ran with a bunch of friends and their families. We woke up to heavy rain, but decided to go any way. It rained super hard until right before the race started, and then it stopped just in time for the race.
Here are a few of my running buddies that I run with each week. We were all wearing our Team Sparkle running skirts! It's fun to wear them, and it also helps us to locate each other during the race! They definitely stand out!
Here we are after the race! We were waiting to hear the results! Jason got 5th place in his age division, Jordan got 9th place in his age division, and I got 10th in my age division. We were happy with our times! I was happy that I beat my last time from my first 5K last month!
The sun came out and it turned out to be a beautiful day! We can't wait for our next 5 or 10K. It was fun doing it together as a family!

You guys look so cute in your little skirts! It is fun to do stuff like that with friends and family. I'll bet you can't believe how 'little' your family is with only one boy left at home - quiet, yes?
So jealous! Wish my knee would let me run. Great to have the family involved. YOur times are quite good. Way to be in shape!
How fun to see my friend Kori doing the 5K with you. I am impressed you guys ran with the threat of rain. I don't like running in rain, or snow either. Hope you guys are doing good!
