River Trip / Memorial Weekend

Today we returned home from our annual Colorado River trip for Memorial weekend! We had so much fun with our regular group of river friends and family. We reserve a place on the river every year at this time, and we had our own private beach for our use the entire time. Since we sold our motorhome last year, we stayed at a hotel in Laughlin, Nevada, 30 minutes away at night, and spent our days riding Sea-Doo's, sitting under the canopy, and visiting with friends, napping and soaking up the sun. One of our funnest toys this year was a towable called "The Twister." No amusement park has come close to inventing a ride like this. We've put a video together highlighting our trip. Wish you were all there to share it with us!

Pretty sweet footage. I'm pretty sure that getting rolled up in the twister would make me lose everything I'd eaten for a week. The water looked really nice, and I was impressed by your cool moves on the wakeboard.

Your viedo made me sick just watching the first 5 seconds of it. I hope it was fun

Snowboard in the winter, wakeboard in the summer. Why not? Looks like a great time. Wish we could have been there.

Hey other Guthrie gang! I still haven't recovered from watching the barrel ride. WOW! Too fun! (I would never do it).

Great footage as usual. Hard to believe it was just a few days ago. Too bad I was so sick. I would have had more fun!

For some reason we never got sick from all the spinning. However the forces pushing and pulling you inside that thing are something that you just have to experience. Because the river is narrow, we are not able to get it spinning as fast as we do at the lake. One of these days I will upload that footage. Good Times. Jason.

That looks awful. I'd totally get sick rolling around in "The Twister." But it also looks like you had a great time. Loved the video.
